People who stop at “he’s gorgeous” are obviously not paying attention. He’s such an amazing human being and he deserves to be recognized for his hard work and sacrifice.

At the Salute to Supernatural Chicago 2011 , Jensen auctioned a specially made jar of salt used on the show. Jensen’s nephew has Down’s Syndrome, and the $5500 raised went to his family’s Team Levi as part of the 2011 Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas Buddy Walk. Fans also supported Team Levi, helping raise over $19,000 for the cause.
The Ackles family sent a letter of thanks to some fans after, featuring a picture of Jensen and Levi.
